Semantic Enterprise Course: Comparing Ontominer with Verity K2 enterprise

• Similarity Measure Verity uses: Kullback-Leibner distance and mutual information
• Concept labeling: based on WordNet, the description of noun-phrases (signatures) is expanded by including synonyms, hypernyms and hyponyms
• Each cluster is named by labels derived from its dominant concepts in a bottom-up fashion (labels can be modified by users)
• Taxonomy construction is done with help of a user by applying delete, add, move and other operations
• Ontominer will experiment with a variaty of similarity measures
