Microsoft UDDI registry is a tool that allows us locate Web service information. By using UDDI, we are able to register services under several categories.

 

Search enables us to locate Web service information. We can search for services, service providers, or tModels by name or by browsing categorizations.

 

If we want to search on the UDDI, there four options to choose from;


I attempted a search by using “browse by category”, and I selected “ubr-uddi-org:iso-ch:3166-2003” as categorization scheme. Then, in the “World” subcategory, I selected “Turkey”, then “Istanbul” as city (where I grown up). Then, I clicked “Find Services”. Then a service, named “MyRoomTemp”, appeared in the “search results” panel at the left. Clicking on the result gives us details on the right. Here are the details;

 To summarize, I think that the UDDI Registry is very useful.
