this paper mentioning about an algorithm that creates wrapper by comparing different web pages HTML codes. This is very important for the data extraction.

 

also a good thing of that system is that this system does not rely on user-specified examples, and does not require any interaction with the user during the wrapper generation process; this means that wrappers are generated and data are extracted in a completely automatic way.

 

Finally, it is good that pattern discovery is based on the study of similarities and dissimilarities between the pages; mismatches are used to identify relevant structures.
